Founder’s Story
Aditya Wikara is the founder of SMSolar, a leading solar energy company in Indonesia. Prior to founding SMSolar, Aditya contributed to the development of self-cleaning solar panel technology at Boston University's Solar Energy Lab, a project that has since evolved into the successful startup, Sol Clarity. Aditya holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Columbia University.
Driven by a vision to make solar energy accessible and reliable across Indonesia, Aditya founded SMSolar with the goal of becoming the country’s leading solar energy partner. Whether for residential homes, commercial buildings, industrial factories, or, in the future, utility-scale solar farms, SMSolar is dedicated to providing sustainable energy solutions that empower businesses and communities across Indonesia.
